About Dr. Jones

Steve-and-Darla-2019

Stephen and his wife Darla (2019)

Dr. Stephen E. Jones was born in Marion, Indiana January 29, 1950. At the age of three, his parents went as missionaries to the Philippine Islands under the Christian and Missionary Alliance, and they spent a total of nine years in that far-off land. Upon returning to America, they lived in Minnesota, where Stephen finished high school and then went to St. Paul Bible College and the University of Minnesota, majoring in Philosophy and Humanities. He later received his masters degree and doctorate from the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology.

He met his wife-to-be, Darla, while attending St. Paul Bible College, and they were married in 1971. She, too, was from a minister's family, as her parents were in the ministry under the Christian and Missionary Alliance. They have six children, and as of the year 2019 they have seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

From 1975-1981 he worked as an assistant pastor for a small independent church in Phoenix, Arizona and then helped establish a church in New Mexico for a short time. However, a profound spiritual experience in 1982 changed his life, took him out of pastoral ministry, and the Spirit led him into the "wilderness" for a ten-year time of humbling and training in the principles of the divine law. In late 1990, when he finally concluded that God had no need of his services, and when he was content to just continue working in the secular field, then God called him back into the ministry full time.

Dr. Jones' most important writings came after God brought him back into the full-time ministry in 1991. It is here that all his earlier years of searching the Scriptures began to come into clear focus. He combines a knowledge of the Old and New Testaments with a personal revelation of God that began and developed during the "wilderness" period of his life, which he often refers to as God's True Bible College.

His first project in 1992 was to write Creation's Jubilee, an eye-opening study of what Acts 3:21 calls "the restoration of all things" (NASB). Others have written about this subject in the past, but no one in the past has approached it from the foundation of Moses' law of Jubilee.

His next project was to write the book dealing with the laws of time called Secrets of Time. This is one of the most astounding books of all time, designed to show the sovereignty of God in history. When we see that all things in history occur on God's time cycles and judgment cycles, history suddenly comes alive. More importantly, we learn more about the way in which God thinks and views the world. Getting to know God better. That is the purpose of this book.

In 2001 Dr. Jones finished writing his third large book entitled The Laws of the Second Coming. This book deals with the second coming of Christ by teaching first about the feast days of Israel. The feast days are God's appointed times and prophesy of both the first and second coming of Christ. More than a book about Christ's coming, it is a book about the purpose of Christ's coming and its impact upon the world in the Age to come. It is as much a book on the second work of Christ. Even as His first work culminated at the Cross on that feast of Passover in Jerusalem, so also the second work of Christ is prophesied by the feast of Tabernacles. No one truly understands Christ's second coming without some comprehension of the feast of Tabernacles--and yet this feast seems to be practically unknown to many Bible teachers who write about the second coming.

In 2003 Dr. Jones finished his fourth large book entitled The Struggle for the Birthright. This book filled the natural gap left by the previous book, showing how the modern Israeli state is NOT what most Christians think it is. It is NOT the fulfillment of the prophecies of the regathered House of Israel, whose tribes were carried into Assyria from 745-721 B.C. Calling that modern state "Israel" is a clear case of mistaken identity, for it is only an attempt by Zionists to establish God's Kingdom by means of violence and apart from Jesus Christ. The story goes back to the conflict between Jacob and Esau, but this book traces the history of the birthright and the dominion mandate through history to the present time. The book is important in that it exposes the counterfeit Kingdom of God that was to become manifest before the REAL was established.

Christian believers will have a greater anointing in the next Age to extend the Kingdom of God into all the earth. Those who think they will be removed to heaven and will sit on a cloud unemployed for eternity are sadly mistaken. The Kingdom of God will grow from a stone to a mountain range and will fill the whole earth (Dan. 2:35). This will not happen by itself, but through the witness and teaching by Christians who know God and who have the anointing to bring world history to its historic climax--the seventh millennium, the great Sabbath of history. It is Dr. Jones' purpose to shed light on God's purposes for the earth, and the Christian's role and calling in the years to come.

About Our Logo

gkm-logo.pngThe two doves on our logo are taken from Leviticus 14, where we find the laws concerning the cleansing of lepers. Leprosy in the Bible is a symbol of mortality, for this disease was looked upon as a slow death. For a full explanation of this concept, see our book, The Laws of the Second Coming.

It took two doves to fully cleanse a leper. The first dove was killed in an earthen vessel over running water. The priest then took the blood and water and sprinkled the leper that had been healed. This was to apply the blood of the dove to the leper. The second dove was dipped in the blood of the first dove and released in the open field.

Both doves represent Christ, who alone brings us into immortality. The first dove represents Christ in His first coming, for He came to die. His blood is applied to mortals ("lepers") in order to bring us into immortality. The second dove, which was dipped in the blood of the first dove, represents Christ in His second coming. For this reason, Rev. 19:13 says (NASB), "And He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood." The wording of this verse depicts Christ coming as the second dove being released in the "open field." We know from Matt. 13:38 that the field is the world. Thus, Christ is released into the world.

The logo therefore portrays the first dove on a red background to signify blood and death. It is also positioned in the lower part of the shield. The second dove, having a red streak on its breast (having its vesture dipped in blood), is portrayed on a blue background to signify the sky. It is therefore being released into the open field.

The gold banner that connects the two halves of the shield signifies divine character, for God is refining His people as pure gold. The motto: "Truth in Love" is taken from Eph. 4:15. Truth can only be spoken in love when it comes from the character of Christ (gold).

It takes two doves to bring us fully into the experience of the feast of Tabernacles, where we leave this present body ("tabernacle") and dwell in an immortal body ("tabernacle"). The first dove laid the foundation for immortality, but it takes the second dove to bring this hope to fruition.

Statement of Beliefs

  1. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God.
  2. We believe that the God of the Bible, as revealed in Jesus Christ, is the only One in whom we may receive salvation (Acts 4:12; John 14:6).
  3. We believe that Jesus pre-existed creation (John 1:1, 2), that all things were created through Him (John 1:3), that He was born of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:34), having a heavenly Father and an earthly mother, that He died for the sin of the world (John 1:29), that He rose again for our justification (Rom. 4:20), and that He ascended to rule in His Father’s throne (Phil. 2:9-11).
  4. We believe that Jesus sent the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-8) to indwell and empower His body to complete the work of bringing the earth under the dominion of His Kingdom. We believe that salvation is an ongoing process to bring all three parts of man’s nature—spirit, soul, and body (1 Thess. 5:23)—into perfection. Complete salvation, therefore, comes in three distinct levels: Justification (spirit), Sanctification (soul), and Glorification (body).
  5. We believe that the laws, statutes, and judgments in the Bible are the divine revelation defining sin and righteousness (1 John 3:4; Rom. 7:7), and that violations of these laws are cause for repentance or judgment. Other standards of righteousness, such as love (John 15:12) and faith (Rom. 14:23) are general principles which the specific statutes help us to define the will of God and apply the law in a more practical way.
  6. We believe that we are the temple of God (1 Cor. 3:16) and are thus required to treat our bodies as the dwelling place of the Holy Spirit. We believe that if we destroy this holy temple, “God will destroy him” (1 Cor. 3:17). We are not to profane the temple of God (Lev. 21:12) by doing anything the Bible calls “sin,” including ingesting or being vaccinated with poisons, toxic materials, or aborted fetal tissue. We believe that most vaccines violate the law of God, as they carry toxic ingredients and use tissue from aborted babies. Such ingredients defile the temple of God and artificially force the Temple Guard (immune system) to defend and cleanse the temple from sin.
  7. We believe that replacing God’s creations with genetically modified plants and animals is a blatant attempt to lay claim to the earth that God Himself owns by right of creation. The most recent mRNA “vaccines” are designed to genetically modify human beings themselves, altering their humanity, so that pharmaceutical companies may later claim ownership of them legally. We therefore forbid any of our members from taking such “vaccines” on the grounds that God owns us and Christ has redeemed us from such slavery (Luke 1:68). We are therefore to stand firm and not return to a yoke of slavery (Gal. 5:1).
  8. We believe that the Declaration of Independence established that all rights come from God alone, and that governments are instituted to secure and defend those rights. Governments cannot do more than grant privileges. The law of God, therefore, sets forth the natural, God-given rights of man, and if any law is passed which denies this principle is inherently unconstitutional and void.
  9. We believe that the law cannot justify sinners (Ex. 34:7; Rom. 3:19, 20), and that therefore, Justification before the law is only possible by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8) who paid for our sins by His death on the cross.
  10. We believe that there will be a resurrection of the dead first for the overcomers (Rev. 20:1-6) and then for all men including the rest of the Church (Rev. 20:11-15). At that second resurrection the Church will receive due judgments (1 Cor. 3:15; Luke 12:47-49; John 5:28, 29) before being given immortality.
  11. We believe that in the “Ages of the Ages” following the general resurrection of the dead, the unbelievers will be judged by the divine law figuratively pictured as a “fire” (Deut. 33:2). They will be placed under the loving authority of the overcomers who “inherit the earth” (Matt. 5:5). During that time, they will learn righteousness (Isaiah 26:9) by the example and teaching of those who rule over them. This final Age will have an end, as all ages do, for the purpose of God’s judgment is to correct sinners and restore them to Himself. Then at the end of that final age of judgment, the great Creation Jubilee will fully restore all humanity to Jesus Christ, that God may be “all in all” (1 Cor. 15:22-28).
  12. We believe that the overcomers are the true Israelites in the original meaning of the term as applied to Jacob (Gen. 35:10). He was not born an Israelite but attained this name by overcoming. In later history the term came to be applied to his descendants who were called to imitate their father’s example. Only a remnant of grace did so, however (Rom. 11:7), and these, along with all others of the household of faith, are the true Israelites who are worthy of the title.
  13. We believe that during the Divided Kingdom, the term Israel was used to distinguish them from the people of Judah (i.e., “Jews”). Israel was divorced from God for their sin (Jer. 3:8) and sent out of God’s house (Deut. 24:1-4) as the law prescribed. The only way to regain the name Israel is through acceptance of Jesus Christ first as the King of Judah and then as the Heir of Joseph’s birthright.
  14. We believe that Judah was divided into two groups, pictured as two trees having either good fruit or evil fruit (Jer. 24). These two groups of Judahites (“Jews”) were defined in terms of their submitting to the judgment prescribed in the laws of tribulation. In Jeremiah’s day the evil figs refused to submit to the king of Babylon, whom God had raised up to judge Judah for their sins (Jer. 27). In Jesus’ day the evil figs refused to submit to Rome and were likewise destroyed. In modern times the Jews have again attempted to return to the old land and rebuild a nation while still in rebellion against Jesus Christ and with the same spirit which caused their destruction in the past. We believe that the Zionist nation will not repent, and that again Jerusalem will be destroyed—this time in such a manner that it will never again be rebuilt (Jer. 19:10, 11).
  15. We believe that the New Jerusalem has replaced the Old Jerusalem as the center or “Capital City” of the Kingdom of God, even as the New Covenant has replaced the Old Covenant (Gal. 4:22-31). “Zion,” the hill of Jerusalem’s government under the Old Covenant, has been replaced by Mount Sion, representing Heavenly City and its New Covenant seat of government (Heb. 12:22, KJV). Mount Sion is Mount Hermon (Deut. 4:48), and is the place where Jesus was transfigured and pronounced the Son of God.

About Our Site

Purpose

The main purpose of this website is to reach out, and make available to the world, the revelations and teachings of Dr. Stephen Jones, as represented through his many books, audio recordings, video, and daily weblogs. It also represents a collective voice of those who have been part of this work through the years, which has served to become part of the overall revelation, revealed through this ministry as a whole. This site is a next step in the direction of making these things known through the current technologies available on the internet. It will be ever-growing and ever-expanding.

History

As mentioned, this site is the next step, which implies there were previous steps. Each of those steps have had a purpose in their time, and have had maximum impact during that time. The transition from the previous site to this site manifestation has been "trying," to say the least. Much of the reason for the time it has taken has been the result of the founding premise that it was absolutely critical to establish a web presence that was not proprietary in nature, and thus dependent on any one individual to continue. This meant that current technologies had to be investigated, and even experimented with to some degree, before making a final decision. In this instance, that trail involved the testing of well-known technologies such as Drupal, Joomla, and even WordPress. Each of which, at some point during the investigation, proved to be a potential problem in the future, given the plans for this site. It was at this time that we came across a fairly new platform, by the name of Concrete5. After spending time investigating and comparing, it was decided that this platform provided the most versatile and powerful technology available to not only take care of current needs, but also provide everything needed to accommodate all the needs of God's Kingdom Ministries, as it grows internationally in the years to come. This represented a lot of behind-the-scenes invisible work that just takes time.

The other issue that we encountered was that because the previous manifestation of the site was an extremely proprietary system, developed and maintained by one person, it took much time just to go into the existing site structure, code, and even thought process, many times, just to determine what was, what was intended, and what needed to be done to continue it. This was work that was being done concurrently with the other work being done, described in the previous paragraph, along with the same situation that existed with another site developed by the same party for the Burning Bush International Bible Institute, which followed the same exact process flow described above, paralleling at the same time.

The very good news is that, as you can see, we have finally come to a completion point with the main GKM website, for which we are thrilled. What this means now is that God's Kingdom Ministries' internet presence will no longer be hemmed in or hindered because of proprietary mindset and development, and will now be able to be further developed extensively, while maintenance shall be at an extreme minimum, and easily accomplished. We hope you enjoy the fruits of this labor, and that you are greatly helped by the awesome content provided through the mechanism of this new website.

Future

As mentioned above, the platform is now established, the foundation is sure, and the tools are in place, to make available to God's Kingdom Ministries anything that is needed with regard to its presence on the internet, and thus its presence in the world. As the ministry grows to have more of an international presence, this platform will make it possible to build an intranet, extranet, or any other net that may be needed to accommodate the communication needs of everyone involved, as well as the daily users who seek to know more of the Kingdom of God.

As you use the site from this time forward, you will see changes, fairly constant, as we make adjustments, add new ways to deliver the content, and continue to stream-line what is available. We will endeavor, to the best of our ability, to keep you apprised of current activities, and projected future changes via the Site News vehicle, and other places. Our aim, again, is to make this experience as vast as possible, while at the same time as un-complicated as possible, from a user's perspective. We would like to ask you to help us in this matter by reporting via the form available here, to let us know if you encounter any broken links, any errors, any typos, etc. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Conclusion

Of course, it is our earnest hope that this new website will be an extreme help to you. We're also hoping that for those of you that have been visiting Dr. Jones' websites for years, will also find a new and fresh experience that may even help to make fresh all of the awesome content that Dr. Jones makes freely available through his website.

Have fun, and God Bless!
